Can anyone recommend a school - state, independent or special which caters for children with social communication and interaction difficulties, and has a tolerant and understanding empathy for children with ADHD.
My child has been asked to leave his current prep school because they are unable (and unwilling) to accommodate his needs. My son is bright and able to cope with the curriculum, but has very low self esteem and poor social interaction skills. He takes medication for his ADHD - he is extremely fidgety but he is not badly behaved, and I want to find a school that realizes the amazing potential he has to achieve whatever he sets out to do and to unleash the beautiful spark and joie de vivre that he once had.
I'm open to look at schools in SW London, Surrey, Berkshire, Sussex, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire from junior to senior years.
Thank you.
