Proudly showing pic of gorgeous children on community website

Hello all

We just wanted to get some feedback on the above subject. We have setup a small community information website and have done an written an introduction as though its from our 2 lovely children (boy 1; girl 3) and have had some really upsetting and poisonous resonses on another local forum (im assuming they think we are in some way competing with them).

From it being 'sick' to us 'prosituting our children'.

Now we are extremely proud parents to our 2 gorgeous kids and dont see anything wrong with what we have done, we just wondered what you had thought.

The whole things has become extremely unsavoury, and really quite upsetting, and something we thought would be a nice, helpful, site for local parents has just caused such a negative reaction from certain individuals (incidentally, also from the local councillor, who is active on this other forum, who complained that we have only been residents for 3 years, which beggers belief!)

If you disagree please be nice, im not sure we can take any more insults or abuse!
