Infertility and miscarriage support in Dudley borough / black country

Hi everyone,

After years of trying for a baby and suffering infertility and miscarriage I'm looking to set up a support group in my area. The nearest group is in Birmingham which has always been too far for me.

I'm hoping the group would meet every month to share knowledge, experience and compassion plus buddy services for those who need an understanding ear. We could also work together to put pressure on Dudley CCG to review funding policy decisions and the local hospital group and GP practices for code of practise.

The group would welcome women of all ages, those with primary or secondary infertility and those who have suffered one or more miscarriages.

If you want to know more about me you can read about me and my DH 's journey here: www.expressandstar.com/news/local-news/2015/01/12/all-we-want-in-the-world-is-to-start-a-family-say-ivf-couple/

If you're interested please join the feed so we can get talking!

Hi there.

I have just read your story. It sounds like a nightmare. I had no idea of Dudley's arrangements for IVF. This is our next option if the clomid doesn't work. I start clomid next month for 6 rounds.

So are you saving for more IVF now then? Or is there any chance of them changing their minds?

Hi, sorry you are having such a shitty time. I am in Dudley CCG area but unlikely to have quite the same issues as you- we can't get pg due to DH low sperm count Sad I didn't realise that the one year time limit reset if you miscarry, that's terrible. What ate your next steps? We have an appt on 2/3 to decide next action following DH second SA test. Will be interesting to hear what they have to say. Where about are you in Dudley area?
