Hi there. Does anyone have children attending a Hillingdon Council nursery or perhaps you plan to send a child there or on the waiting list to attend? If so, you should be aware that the council's proposed budget for 2015/16 includes a 58% increase to nursery fees effective from April. This applies to Uxbridge Early Years Centre, South Ruislip Early Years Centre and Nestles Avenue Children's Centre.
If this will affect you and you'd like to have your say online, the deadline is Friday 30 January - please see www.hillingdon.gov.uk/article/29379/Have-your-say-on-London-Borough-of-Hillingdon-Budget-Proposals-for-201516.
Information about the fee increase can be found on page 106 of appendix 8.
This large hike in fees will likely mean that some parents can no longer afford this childcare option.
