anyone know of any great babysitters or childminders?

Hello, I'm a single mum just moved to York a few months ago! I don't have much family support round here, and haven't really built up a network yet, so looking for a great childminder who could do the odd evening/ few hours on a weekend to give me a chance to catch up on housework etc!

I have two kids aged 8 and 2

Not really wanting to go for a complete stranger, just wondered if anyone knows anyone who they've hired and who is kind, patient, honest and reliable? They don't have to be fully qualified or anything, registered childcarers don't usually work the hours I need a break!
