Ladies, we are looking into relocating to Cheltenham and I need some on the ground advise, please.
1. Looking at St. Mark’s area, around Brooklyn Rd - any good? or any other suggestions? Thinking of renting for a year to see how it goes. £800 for 2-3 bed house in ok area realistic?
2. there are couple of nurseries in the vicinity the St. Mark’s area - Young Explorers Day Nursery, Puddles Nursery, The Gloucestershire College Day Nursery, Little Smarties, St Marks & Hesters Way - anybody have babes there? Positive negative reviews?
3. How is the traffic in the morning if decide to go for further away nursery?
4. Is £40 day charge - a normal price for the area?
5. Babysitting - what is the price range for the area?
6. How is the job market and pay? I'm in marketing at the mo, but ok to swap for admin, pa, customer service etc. Are the part timers not outcast?
7. Looking for a bit of a slower pace of life, is this a place?
I did a bit of research myself, but would really appreciate your input!
Sell me Cheltenham!)))
