Moving to Emsworth and son starting year R at Westbourne Primary this Sept

Hello,

We are moving to Emsworth/Westbourne first week of september 2014 and my son is starting at Westbourne Primary in year R in September. I was wondering if there are any groups or clubs that anyone can recommend me taking my son along to where other children who might be starting the same school might be? Feel sorry for him not knowing anyone as the move has all happen quite quickly so he hasn't done the taster days at school either...

I'm also expecting number 2 in the next two weeks so keen to hear about mums and baby groups too! Has anyone been to the Westbourne church hall one on a wednesday 1.30-3pm? Does anyone know if this runs during summer hols?
