Re-locating and need advise please.

Hello, we are relocating from Hampshire to Northamptonshire due to my partners job in Higham Ferrers and we have been looking at houses in the following areas-
Higham Ferrers
Mawsley
Broughton
Kettering
Burton Latimer
Could anyone tell me a bit more about these areas and whether they are OK for a family, schools, local amenities, countryside /walks (we have a dog) etc.. I would really appreciate any advice/info, thanks in advance x
