Hello all. Was hoping to hear from anyone with children at Leopold Primary? My son has been offered a reception place and we are unfamiliar with the school - really hadn't expected to get a place there so hadn't done our homework. Thanks in advance!

Wallina, that's so good of you! We ended up sending our son to a different school but thank you for replying. Glad to hear you think highly of Leopoldo! This is really funny to find this thread - I was googling Gwenneth Rickus, because she is my dad's cousin, and she died on 4 February, and I came cross hits for the Gwenneth Rickus site of Leopold Primary school. I knew she had had a building in Brent named after her, because she was Director of Education in Brent in the 1970s for about 15 years, but I didn't know a school had moved into the building.

My dad and I are two of her closest surviving relatives, because she never married or had any children, and had no siblings.

Anyway, I'm glad to know the school associated with her name is a good school!
