Myself and my family have just moved to Fife. I have a 3 yr old daughter and an 18mth old son. Aside from work colleagues, I dont really know many people here and so am looking for some help!
I am keen to get my son into some kind of sport class to encourage cooperation, sharing, listening etc. My daughter goes to nursery, ballet and swimming lessons so feel a bit bad that my son isnt in anything yet. Unfortunately, all the classes I have seen are in the afternoon and I was really looking for a mornign class. Does anyone know of anything? Many thanks!

Hi MandPat, welcome to Fife.

Have you had a look at the listings on here? We have lots of new listings going on at the moment, and are asking our members to update and review them. I am the Local Editor here, and am currently trying to find great events and classes around Fife.

For his age group, we have Musical Steps which might be of interest, Waterbabies and Doodle and Splat art classes.

Will give this thread a shout out on our Facebook page and see if anyone else has suggestions.

Hi mandpat, welcome to Fife! It's a great place to live and lots of things going on so there will definitely be something for you to take your wee boy to.
Where are you in Fife? I'm in Kirkcaldy so know most of the classes on round about but also some further afield so let me know where you are and I can suggest relevant ones to you.
Also have a look at the listings of what's on and baby and toddler groups too as there should be quite a few on there now. It might all seem a bit overwhelming at first so write back and I'll help to narrow them down a bit if you need! :)

Hi mandpat and Whinnyburn7
I've set up our first Kirkcaldy meet-up for Friday 26 April at 10.30am. Even though you might not live in Kirkcaldy, you are very welcome to come along. I remember what it was like being a new mum and hardly knowing any other mums, even though I had lived here for years! It's not as easy as people think to get out and meet other mums. Even when I went to classes, people used to just disappear as soon as the class finished and even though they wanted to do something afterwards, no-one wanted to be the person to say it!
We will be meeting in the cafe at the Adam Smith Theatre so come along if you can for a cuppa and a chat.
Hope you can make it :)

Apologies, the meet-up is tomorrow, 19 April, not 26 April as I had posted. Hope you can still come along and say hello :)

Hi mandpat, my 2 year old DD goes to a morning sports class at Levenmouth leisure centre called panda club, it's for children from 18 month - 3 years and it's on a couple of mornings a week so you get a choice of different days, we go on thursdays.
