Hi I have an 8 month old daughter and live near stockton heath. I moved here just before my girl was born so would love to meet up with other mummies in the area with little ones around the same age x

Hi evanoone, there are lots of great baby groups in Stockton Heath. Great for meeting other mums! Definitely recommend the NCT ones - I go to the baby and beyond one at Fun2B on Mondays, which is great if your LO is getting more mobile.

Oh, Fun2B is not in Stockton Heath, although the Coffee Au Clay one (for younger babes) is xx

Welcome to Stockton Heath Evanoone! There is so much going on in the area. I live here too and always found plenty to do when I was on Mat Leave. I'm back at work part time now but still get out and about with my little boy on my days off.
Coffee au Clay is now called Jenny Wrens but they run a coffee morning with the NCT charity every other Monday. They also have lunch dates at Pizza Express. I've attached the link below for you to check it out.

Also have you been in touch with your local Sure Start Centre? They run classes such as baby massage and story time. It's next to Cobbs School and is well worth checking out.

There is also a good Mums and Tots group at Bethesda Church on Grappenhall Road on Mondays from 9am until 12. They have a baby and a toddler room there which we loved. I still go to this as my little one gets the chance to mix with younger and older children. It's £2 and they serve the most fabulous tea and toast!

Another thing I liked to do was go to the Library. They have storytime there as well plus it's nice and quiet. I used to tie it in with a nice walk around Alexandra Park.

And finally...as I could go on all day!!!! There was a baby sensory class I used to take Casper to when he was about 8 months old. It's run by Laura Bannister and she is fab. The babies love it plus it gives you the chance to meet other mums.

Hope this helps...just drop me a line if you need any more info.
