ooh people here. Hiya.

Three If you draw a line between Richmond, Barnard Castle and Darlington I live pretty much in the middle. My village begins with an E. Ive only lived here a year so not sure where everything is, but Im starting to find my way. Do you mean the Station at Richmond? Or is there one in Barnard Castle? Sorry Ive only been to Barney once.

Anyone fancy a bigger meet up somewhere? I can drive so not bothered where though wouldn't want to go much further south than Thirsk.

Lilleth I think I know where you are, and I am 2 villages further over, the village where the bridge isn't working too well at the moment. And yes, I did mean the Station at Richmond, but I can certainly travel a bit.

I never said where I am. I'm in Pickering.

The station at Richmond is fine with me. When are you free? Im a bit busier than usual this week, but can make Wed afternoon, Thurs morning or Fri aft. Or can make Mon aft or Fri aft next week (have a few plans over half term), but after half term I have a lot more free time as I have no plans as yet.

I think after half term would be better for me certainly, as there is a lot going on at the moment, and half term is busy plus we are away for a bit as well.

Ah well then we will have to arrange something after half term. Do you live somewhere beginning with W?

Who's up for a bigger North Yorkshire meet up in April? Im thinking April as its a couple of months away so we can get something organised and have plenty of notice, but if anyone would like to do something sooner then we can.

Im thinking somewhere that is fair for all (or at least most) of us in terms of travel. So say Northallerton, Ripon, Thirsk? If so where to go? I dont really know any of the places as to what's there, so open to any suggestions.

After half term works for me. I drive so am happy to travel. I'm fairly new to the area too, so like to explore new places.

After half term is good for me. I do drive, but I have 17 week old twins that are ebf so I try not to go too far away as it ends up being traumatic a bit of a faff. The Station would be perfect.

Mondays are not good for me generally, as I am in uni for several hours. Rest of the week is free though, inbetween school runs.

Oops, I've just realised you were talking about the two of you meeting up after half term, sorry! April time is fine for me for a group meet up.

Ahhhh, twins, how lovely! I'll be bringing along my 22 week old DS.

I live in Darlo but used to live in Wycliffe when we first moved up from the south and am very partial to a walk and a Station cake. Well, mainly cake.

LillethTheCat · 15/02/2013 12:06

Ooh Ive just come back from Darlo. Im very partial to cake too Grin probably a bit too much Grin

When is best for those that want to meet at the station in Richmond? Im thinking Wed 27th or would people prefer the Tues or Thurs?

Also any thoughts of a bigger meet up at some point? I originally said April, but happy to make it earlier if people want.

26th or 27th works for me. My two wee boys will be in nursery then (12mth old for the first time eek!) as I go back to work the following week so I'll have free hands to carry the tray of cake.
