Hi I thought I would get our local site kick started and see if we can't get a few more members. I have been living in Warwickshire for just over a year now and have found it a very welcoming and warm place and it would be great if our local site could reflect that.

When we get a few more members I would like to get some meet ups on the go, we all know how isolating life can be sometimes and its great just to see a friendly face.

Come on, sign up and say hello :)

Hi mrsmillar I'm hoping at some point in the new year to set up some meets (when I manage to entice a few more people over to the local board) Where are you based? I'm in Rugby.

hi mardy! Great to see a lovely friendly thread for Warwickshire folk :) I'm in Stratford and have just started a thread in the hope to meet some friends here. We moved at the beginning of December and I only vaguely know 1 other person so far! We haven't made it to rugby yet but we did have a look at some houses in Braunston which I believe isn't too far away? I've got a 4yr old ds and an 8yr old dd, how about you?

Hi Everyone! I moved to Rugby in July last year and I still don't really know many people. I work in Northampton during the week so it's difficult to find the time! It'd be great to get some local meet-ups sorted, I'm pretty sure they'll be quite a few mums who'd like to get involved once we get going!

Hi I'm interested in potential meets too. I'm only 8-9 weeks gone but only moved to Leamington two years ago, and apart from work colleagues that all live in Stratford I don't know many people. This is my first baby and my family live an hour or so away so local support/friends would be good 😄

Hi, I'm interested in meet ups too. My husband is from Coventry and we're there most of the time with his children. I know NOBODY in the area other than his family, be lovely to meet people and have a life outside!

Right then people, lets get our first meet up on the way. If anyone who is interested could PM me we could arrange a meet up. Is everyone OK with Rugby for a meet? Any preferable days? We could get something sorted in the next couple of weeks.

Hi all. I am living in Leamington (a small village outside of it) and been here since Easter when I moved in with my OH. I know no one in the village although I work in Leamington - people are busy with their own lives a lot of the time though.

I am 21 weeks pregnant with my first so would love to meet people in a similar situation to myself.

Hi Xena I feel your pain. I moved here a couple of years ago and its so difficult to get to know anyone. How exciting that you are pregnant with your first baby, I have 4 dc now, but I remember the feeling so well.

I am going to be looking into some groups in all the local areas and will be posting them on twitter in the next week or so, so keep an eye out if you are on there (if you aren't then sign up and get following).

I am looking to arrange a meet up quite soon as well, hopefully we get a few more locals over to these boards and can get people in every area.

Warwickshire is such a lovely place, and so friendly and really unique and I would love our talk boards to show that.

Hi all. I moved here last year and still don't know anyone. I work full time so I miss all the toddler groups and It would be such a relief to get to know a few other mums in the area. Please let me know if there's a meet up taking place!

Nobody got back to me, so we didn't meet up. It is very quiet here. Hopefully now that local threads show up on the active conversations, things may change.
