Recommend a good Indian in Newcastle?

Hi all,

Since we don't live in the UK and DH is going to Newcastle this weekend, he is looking for tips for a good Indian restaurant in Newcastle for aguys in their late 20s to mid 30s, all well educated and have good jobs and enjoy good food but obviously on a stag weekend they are looking stilll for good food but somewhere that won't take forever but tastes good! A lot of the curry houses we've looked at seem quite cheap and cheerful and catering to the happy hour crowd.

Any suggestions out there?

If they are not too bothered about going out of the city centre, the Rumana is lovely. Not too far from the city centre, about 10 mins max.
