What's On! Bath and Surrounding area

As one of your Tsarina's I've been busy updating the What's On! part of the Local pages.

Please feel free to add any events that you know of, Fete's or Jumble Sales, Theatre Shows or Special Events at a local attraction, all welcome.

I am based South of Bath so I have listed quite a few events that way, so would welcome events from Bath and Surrounding Areas that I haven't really touched on.

Have sent you a PM - there seem to be a lot of on-going courses in the Events section at the moment, which means that the one-off special events aren't getting a decent stab at being promoted. Any chance of clearing this up?

jinglingsal I have received your PM.

It's something that I've noticed and I am keeping an eye on the situation. At the moment they are classed as a one off event running for 6 weeks or less, once they extend that date or offer more courses, they will be moved into the Directory and away from the What's On board.

Just to let you all know I've update some local events, mainly some sales or bazaars, but if anyone knows of some interesting events or their school is organising a sale or bazaar, please feel free to add it to the event listings.

Okay, as there are more people coming onto the local boards. I wondered if you would help me out and add some listings.

Whether it be a school fete, jumble sale or Am Drams or other local event, please feel free to create a listing.

We are also encouraging local business and services to create listings in the On the High Street section and what's on, if it's relevant.

If you see a listing that you can review, it would also be appreciated.

As you know we are rebuilding lots of information that used to be on the old local site, but we still need the input from local Mumsnetters. We value your opinions!

As Easter is fast approaching it would be great if you'd add an Easter event happening near you.

The Jolly Sailor Feel Good Festival is taking place at the Jolly Sailor Pub in Saltford! BS31 3ER,

With a big market with lots of stalls, a bar, kegs of beer, food, bouncy castles, live music all day , right on the river , it's a festival for the whole family and one not to be missed!

Taking place on Saturday 8th - Sunday 9th June , spread the word and come and check it out!!

Meet at keynsham leisure centre , Temple St, Keynsham, Bristol, Avon , BS311HE. (Behind fire station).

1. Buggy walk and cafe meeting
   

Tuesdays first and third of the month
9.45 meet for 10am start .
Tea and coffee at reasonable prices at Victoria Methodist church after the walk. Victoria Methodist Centre, Charlton Rd, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2JA

11.20 meet for 11.30am start
