Volunteer Breastfeeding Peer Supporter

Hi Mommies who have breastfed their babies,

NHS Brent is organising a free training course to become a "VOLUNTEER BREASTFEEDING PEER SUPPORTER "

?Would you like to support other mothers with breastfeeding?
?Do you live locally?
?Do you have a positive attitude towards breastfeeding?

No qualifications are needed except that you have breastfed your own baby and are enthusiastic about breastfeeding.

In return, you will receive free compulsory training starting in December 2011. This will span over 8 sessions with ongoing support and supervision.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside other peer support workers and health professionals including nursery nurses, health visitors and midwives.
