New to Ely

Hi, just moved to Ely couple of weeks ago and could do with some advice about playgroups or activities for the kids (and me!).
I have a 4yr old son and 2yr old daughter. We have found many of the play parks and have started my son in the swimming lessons at paradise pool, but seem to be stuck for any activities suitable for both ages.
I'll need something to get us through the holidays before he starts school in september, so would welcome any suggestions.
