11 + Tutors in Gloucester Area

I would like to find an 11+ tutor in the Gloucester area (we live in Abbeydale) and wondered if anyone has any recommendations please.

It's for my daughter who's in year 4 - I'm looking to start the tutoring in the autumn of year 5 - I don't know any of the year 6 parents at school to ask.

I realise that there are mixed feeling about 11+ tutoring - I just want to give my daughter the best chance possible to pass the exam and hopefully have a wider range of schools available to her.

Thankyou - all replies appreciated.

Have you come across this site>? Not sure how forthcoming other parents would be, but I'm sure it's not unheard-of to ask for tutor recommendations.

Other than that, are there no other families in your daughter's year who might be going down the same route? Someone with older siblings already at grammar, maybe.

We're in Stroud, so not much use to you I'm afraid.

Hi - thanks I looked a while back but will re-visit that site.

The parents I've spoken to so far have quite a range of views on tutoring and as I'm looking into it quite early I don't think many others have yet (or they're keeping quiet about it!) I don't know anyone with children in year 6 or with older siblings at Grammar, but I will continue to ask around.

I have found a couple of tutors online and will drop a line to them - would have preferred word of mouth but as I'm not having much joy I will have to widen the search.

Thanks again

Vicky

Hi, I don't know if you are still looking for a tutor for the 11+ tests, I am a tutor who lives in Gloucester. I am fully booked at the moment but after the test on Saturday 9th October I will have spaces if you would like to find out further information.
