My little one went to Yvonne Kerr childcare on rotten park row, edgbaston. A really good nursary, run by a couple of women who take real pride in their nursary, and what they are trying to acheive. I viewed more than 10 nursaries before settling on this. I was a teacher and i was very very picky about finding a place with a nice feel to it. It has a lovely back garden, its own kitchen, and a nice mix of kids.

My DS went here from 10 months to 15 months - we moved because the commute was hard for us (we were in South Birmingham but DP worked nearby).

PS...sorry meant to say it was a couple of years ago now, but they weren't too bad- quite a small nursery (at the time only 6 in his room including him) and they have a good healthy eating policy (water and milk to drink, healthy meals and snacks etc). Then again, it was a couple of years ago so a lot could have changed since then - but worth checking out if you are close to Hagley road.

Lillian de Lisse and Belgravia (one nursery, two sites) is a really good nursery, I know people travelling quite far to go there.

Lillian is on Bellevue (between Bristol Road and Pershore Road near the Middleway) and Belgravia is on Belgravia Close (just around the corner from there).

Anyone got any feedback about The Elms on the Birmingham University Campus?

DD is booked in there provisionally but I'm keen to hear any experiences to reassure me!
