Just thought we needed a real nappies local forum somewhere. So I've started one. Post on here any tips/discounts/general information/just general love of cloth nappies. Think it is great to be able to get information from other local folk. My tip would be make sure you get your incentive from the council. There is one available in Perth, Dundee and Angus (via the Dundee one).

Just wanted to get the posts started!

Discussion topic for all the cloth mamas...one of my favourite things about cloth nappies is the cute prints they come in...what print is your favourite/what print would you love to see a nappy made in?!

A print I love is the Flower Power TotsBots Easyfit as its just so girly on my little fluffy princess...

Id love to see a print of sweeties! Loads of colourful sweeties or sugar pastels....think it would look great!

Hi guys,
I'm in glasgow at moment but moving to dundee when baby born (complicated)
I'm 23 weeks pg. This is my first with my new partner but I have a dd (6) and a ds (4) with my ex. I used cloth on DD but was very lazy with ds.
Keen to go again with new baby> I used a combination of wonderoos and tots bots nippa size 2. Are they totally out of date now?
I still have loads of wraps and various colours?
Any advice welcome. Regularly in Dundee if anyone fancies a nappiccino?

Ha ha yeah I got some fab liquorice all sort wrapping paper in m&s - that would make a great print. The totsbots ones are loverrrlly - have you see the patterned BumG's - artistic series. Not so sure - that kind of pattern makes me feel a bit ill.
p.s. don't suppose you've heard of a green eco shop somewhere out the back of the Wellgate. Was alerted to it today but I've never heard of it before. Hoping they might stock nappies.

Hi irishqueen - yes we do have regular nappuccinos in Dundee and it would be great to see you. We are currently trying to find a new venue. Been having them in the cafe of the Dundee swimming pool but tbh it isn't the nicest so just trying to organise one for mid November. I'll post on here once we've got a date and venue sorted out.
Wonderoos and totsbots nippa will still do you proud!! Although out of interest you might want to check out what is available now - it is amazing how things have moved on even in the space of a few years. TotsBots have some really lovely new nappies out.
I moved through here from Glasgow 5 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I love it here (although I was brought up here so I suppose I'm a bit biaised).

Hey irishqueen,

I'm just over 21 weeks pregnant at the moment and will have 2 in cloth come March - can't wait so you'll have a buddy when the baby is here!!
I used tots bots nippa a couple of times when Jess was little ( i bought them pre-loved) They were great to start with but My husband didn't get on with them so we switched to pockets (mainly bumgenius) when Jess was about 8 weeks.
we should hopefully have a date for a nappiccino soon i'm sure it'll be posted on here soon enough!

I knew there were loads of other Tayside real nappy lovers out there. Superb!! I'm off now - was my wedding anniversary today so I'd better not spend too much time on the computer! Arrg Dundeechicken you are going to need a lot of extra nappies/a bigger washing machine!

Hi everyone. FINALLY made it! As you know I love my cloth nappies. We switched when Brodie was 4 months but really wish i'd done it sooner. The only issue I have are there are so many different ones, and I want to try all of them, it costs me a fortune!! Ha ha ha! They're so pretty though....

In the process of setting up a Dunde Nappy Exchange so we can sell/swap/buy new or used nappies. Will keep you updated on it. :D

Got a date for the next nappuccio. Thursday the 18th of November in the Infusion cafe in Sensation Science Centre. Planning on having a book swap at the nappuccino - will post more details soon but general gist is bring along some books you no longer want and swap them for someone else's books. Anything left over can be put on Freecycle or donated to a charity shop.
How does that sound?
