Hi, I've recently moved from London to a village near Repton, between derby and burton on Trent. I'm 31, have a lovely 3 year old son and am looking to meet some local mums in the area. I live in Derby with my son, he's 11 though so a little older then 3. There's a few Derby people around, I don't think many use the local board though. Insanitybecomesme has a little football team going on, she has a lovely child or two who's around 3. I'm 28 and I have a little boy who is 12 weeks old today!

I've lived in Derby for 10 years but unfortunately I don't know any other mums round here so I'm starting to feel a bit lonely.

I would love to meet up with other mums- I know there are things you can go to like mummy mornings in westfield but I'm a bit shy so it would be nice to go with somebody :)

Hi everyone. I live in Codnor, we moved up here from London about 18 months ago. I'm 32 and I've got a 6 week old little boy, and don't know many local mums, and still dont know the local area that well either!

It would be great to meet up with other mums for some chat (basically, any conversation that doesn't start with "oooh, who needs their nappy changing, then" or other similar exciting coversation opener!)

Haven't really ventured into the outside world with DS yet, so would be keen to meet up. The NCT have told me about a few bumps n babes and toddler groups in Belper, and i know that the QUAD in Derby does CineBabies sessions once a month if anyone is interested?

Hi Vickimum, I'm 29 and I've recently relocated to Winshill in Burton as well and I still know practically no one! I have a 20 month old girl and am 5 months pregnant with a boy. I haven't got a car anymore (I decided to be a stay at home mum and something had to go!) but I'd love to meet up with anyone who is looking to socialise and not mind talking about children! I'm good for gossip too !
