Hi
A bunch of us are campaigning for increased breastfeeding support in Haringey as the powers that be decided to pull the post of "breastfeeding specialist midwife" (During National Breastfeeding week no less!).
Leaving us with only one specialist infant feeding co-ordinator for the whole borough (who is fab but only one person and not enough for the whole borough!).

Just to say the campaign has made great progress and we now have a breastfeeding support group in Wood Green (Noel Park childrens centre on mondays). Yay ! Well done everyone.Grin

As a result of the campaign we have also had a Haringey Breastfeeding Review the findings of which will be presented on Wednesday. The review does not recommend more specialist breastfeeding supportSad so we'll be there telling NHS Haringey that we need it!Angry
