What are you stocking up with if you are in the UK/home country this summer ?

Curious really, as I'm in Asia and Australasia rather than the UK this summer and missing my Primark and Sainsburys raids .

Planning kids pants, socks , lunchboxes, some Lego for Chrimbo .
Cream of tartar.
Coffee beans that aren't yucky and/or hugely expensive like in Qatar .

We are in Texas and can get pretty much everything here although managed to bring back Percy pig sweets and spray deodorant....

School supplies, swim suits, trainers for the dds and work clothes, stationery for Dh and me. Spices / rubs for bbq.
Heading to my new home tomorrow and woke up this morning in a state of panic about all the things I didn't get (Halloween costumes, protractor set, backpack). Oh well.

A heated drier from Lakeland, school shoes (as hard to get them properly fitted in HK), protein powder (as otherwise I'd need to get it shipped at great expense) and wellies but that's it. I can get most things here, albeit at a price, and I sometimes find that stock ups end up being false economy as you buy things that you'd just live without IYSWIM plus storage in HK is at a premium. (plus I've eaten so many Percy Pigs in the last month I never want to see one again )

My DD (who is half Japanese but tall - 173cm/5'8") wants clothes and shoes that actually fit her!!

sherbet fountain sweets
When Dh goes back to Austria on business he brings:
milka and lindt chocolate - tries to time a visit in November to collect chocolate advent calendars
pumpkin seed oil
wine
German magazines for ds
Most of my requirements are food (chocolate) related.

adding a twee but extremely useful M&S family calendar to my xmas list .
Bought cheap but high quality kids swimwear in Aus .Doha College specifies navy or black neither of which I've ever seen on sale in Qatar . Target came up trumps with plain swimshirts and trunks.

oh lord so much I won't bore you with it all! We have done our UK trip already this summer and are back in Indonesia. I bought:
golden syrup
porridge oats
Marmite and vegemite, jam, honey
two birthdays this term so tonnes of sweets, party stuff
books and the birthday gifts from us (plus those given by family....grrrrrrr to the huge lego box my mum bought DS)
heinz ketchup, HP sauce, yorkshire teabags
baking paper, plastic sandwich bags, small size fairy cake cases that actually fit my tin, cake decorations, icing colourings.....it goes on and on
its not that you can't get everything here (apart from baking stuff) but what there is either of dubious origin - think sweets from China where you can't read the ingredient list, or ridiculously expensive - 3 x the price on lego

Rarely make trips back, but when anyone visits us they are politely asked (on pain of death) to bring Henderson's Relish, Percy Pig & Friends, Beef Oxo cubes and Waitress Butter Mintoes.

We bought back loads of chocolate but none of us like it anymore. What has happened to Cadburys?! We also took full advantage of the crappy pound and bought loads of new clothes.

There's nothing we can bring back, but dd and I will be eating proper bacon, cumberland sausages and chip shop chips. We're in West Coast Canada and I don't really miss anything too much but I don't understand why I can't get nice English bangers (plenty of italian, german, polish sausages all of which are OK, but nothing like Porkinsons)

I don't bother with the bags and bags of cadburies stuff now that it's so awful. But I do stock up on

Tena Lady panty liners

Oxo cubes. Chicken and Beef. In fact I'm taking them on holiday to the states with me later this month as I always make a shepherds pie and roast chicken dinner for my brother even though he'll have had them at home in Scotland all year.

A nice cheese selection from an online cheese shop. It arrives the day I'm leaving and comes all packed in a polystyrene box. I just add fresh cold packs

2 months worth of a supermarket magazine dash then when I'm back they get tipped out onto the dining room table and everyone helps themselves.

A specific deodorant for one of my sons. Perhaps 20 pieces.

And last but not least - as many different food items, homemade soaps etc, as I can find at Food Festivals wherever I go in the UK. I love having a cupboard full of different mustards, relishes, jams etc.

Mr Kiplings or Markies Fondant Fancies. Mr Kipling or Markies individual Apple pies. Both a throwback to when my kids would go and stay with nana for the summer and the first day I'm back that's what they have with huge glasses of milk whilst catching up with me - my grandchildren have it as well.

When I lived in Doha we brought a lot of bacon back in with us but I guess you can get it there now... Otherwise we found LUlu had pretty much everything!

I brought back a case stuffed with Quavers and Skips, big jars of Marmite, grapefruit squash, loads of cheap skin care and make up (so expensive here in Oz), plus lots of new clothes for us all.
Everything was so much cheaper too, as we arrived the day after the Brexit vote and the pound plummeted making our $ go even further.
