We are looking at a move to Singapore in the summer and am needing advice on schools.
I have two primary aged children who are thriving in their current state school, both working at a level exceeding current expectations.
I obviously want them to settle well and continue to thrive; personally and academically, but am also mindful of when we eventually move back to the UK (probably not for at least 3 years). I want them to be in a school where the transition back would be as seamless as possible.
I don't know much about the IB programme and wondered if this is a good choice of school or should I choose one based on an English curriculum?
FYI - We are not going to be in a position where my dh's company will pay to 'bump us up' any huge waiting lists. Oh for the expat packages of old!
We are going out for a flying visit next month and would ideally like to look at a couple of schools whilst there, but was hoping that someone might be able to give me some pros and cons of the international schools.
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
