Anyone in Cambodia?

Hi, we live in China and are planning a holiday to Cambodia. I would love to receive any recommendations about places to visit and stay. My daughter has a nut allergy which is difficult to manage in Asia and although we travel a lot, I fear Cambodia may be harder than other places we have visited. So if anyone knows of westernised hotels or restaurants, or of any westerners who are running such places I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

In PP go to la maison d'Ambre. French co-owners. Boutique hotel. Lovely people.

I am not in Cambodia, but visited last year. Try Friends restaurant in PP - it's run to help ex street children and an example of a really well run charity. I am sure if you called ahead, they'd be very accommodating.

I stayed at the OK hotel. Very central, right by the river, and they had a lot of options for breakfast. The staff were really kind and helpful so, again, I am sure they would help you. There were many westerners staying there.

In general though, I didn't find the country to be very westernised at all.

We stayed at navutu dreams siem reap it was brilliant..a bit out of the town but you have your own Tuk Tuk driver. From what I recall they were quite hot on food allergy season at the hotel, everything was homemade and I remember there being an emphasis on healthy, gluten free that kind of thing..
We loved Cambodia, highly recommend a trip there!
