Saas-Fee this autumn- how can toddler DS meet other toddlers?

DH, DS and I are spending the autumn is Saas-Fee. Aside from hanging out in playgrounds, does anyone know of any groups/activities where DS can meet other children and where my lack of Swiss-German will not matter? I only speak (rusty, trying to improve it) German.

I love Saas Fee, and have been holidaying there for years now. It is quite local not too many foreigners living there in the off season. Most people will speak some Engilsh.

I don't know of any groups, but there is a little nursery in the village and that could be your first point of call (can't remember the name of it now, sorry) to find out about any activities.

October and November are very quiet in the village.

Check out the website of the tourism bureau

www.saas-fee.ch/en/kids/

perhaps under the topic of family excursions or children's entertainment you can find a suitable activity for him. There is also family friendly accommodation all over switzerland e.g. reka where there might be some activities for the children staying in their holiday flats.

Thank you. I think I've found the nursery but it looks like we'll need to have a good old hunt for things when we get there.
