Paris mums - Childcare/babsitting in english over the summer

Any leads?
friend looking for an english speaking childminder/babysitter to look after (US) kids 7&10.
Fun and energetic preferred. Ideally a gap year / student that would be confident traveling around Paris with kids.

left Paris 15 years ago and at the time these jobs were advertised through the noticeboard at the american church. Is there any reliable online resource now?

Also any idea about week long summer camps in english? Obviously NOT to learn english ( that is what most english medium schools offer). Sports & arts taught in english or bilingual would be great.

many thanks

Put a card on the noticeboard at the American school (which also runs summer camps, as does EIB I think) for a babysitter, otherwise advertise on Message or in the expat magazine (can't remember what it's called). It's a pity we've left Paris - DD1 would definitely have been up for a job like this!

My friend (and I) is in Asia though so can't do this from a distance! Need online access to messageboards and i suppose these are only open to the school community!
If you remember the name if that mag let me know please!
Was it the FUSAC?

Marymount and Ecole Jeaninne Manuel also run summer day camps in English.

Hi there,

Not sure if this is too late, but I know a group of English speaking nannies and au pairs at our school. If you want to pass me your friends' number, I can pass it to them and see if any are interested.

Good luck!
