After some advise, travelling to Sri Lanka soon for a 50th birthday party - present for birthday sorted, but was wondering about the etiquette of taking something for his wife who I have met and who has hosted me in her house on many occasions. The party isn't at their house but at a venue, but still wondering if I should take something as she is sure to take me sightseeing/shopping one of the days. If so, what would be a goo gift - or should I simply take her some flowers ?
