that's a big area, can you narrow the area down, slightly?

Muskoka is cottage country (about two hours north of Toronto). Rent a place on the water or try one of the resorts (Deerhurst is fab, also Cleveland's House). If your going to be in the city, go to the new Aquarium...we went today. Perfect for all ages...absolutely amazing!

If you go to roomorama.com they have listings for rentals by the week in Toronto
For the park thing, I'd go to Algonquin park, it is amazing!

Arowhon Pines is a classic Canadian lodge in Algonquin Park.

Wasaga Beach is the big place for teenagers to go in the summertime, you could rent a cottage near there.

We used this website last summer www.rentcottage.com
Summer usually books up fast.
