Dc cd go to nearest private school, small and small classes of 10-12. Might this be better option for catching up w reading/writing than local "good" state primary w 30 in a class? Any experiences to share? Thanks

Wouldn't it depend on the potential state or private school? Private doesn't always mean better?

It would also depend on whether you had the funds to pay as well.

What about tutoring yourself and/or paying for a tutor which might be cheaper than annual school fees?

Yes, of course. Such a significant difference in class size wd be main advantage of private for us as literacy.numeracy to catch ip on.

In terms of reports, its a good-outstanding private v a good state. State is full so we'd need to appeal, private has availability. It also has wraparound childcare so wd help work wise. However, its s drive away, the state is a walk...
