Mums in Zug

Any mums in Zug who have teenagers? I am just starting to get used to the idea that kids have a lot more independence here in CH but I also have to get used to the idea of not driving the daughters(and therefore knowing exactly where they are going) when they want to hang out with friends. The apartment we're living in is too small for the 4 of us let alone inviting an teenager along. Could do with some wise advice from experienced mums of teenage girls. Apart from the station in Zug, where else should I advise my older daughter to avoid when going out with her (female) friend on a Saturday night?

Actually, she's not going out at night. Her friend is suggesting the Metalli centre in the daytime for shopping but will be coming home early evening.

Hi, you should ask your question on Expats in Zug group, sorry not at the stage of teenagers around Zug as yet...

Avoid the lake. Lots of drinking and drugs IME. The station is a horrible place at night too.
I left last year when DD was nine so I am not a lot of help I am afraid.
Have you had a look at //englishforum.ch

Just tried but no joy. Maybe I'm being too specific. I'll wait until the girls start at ISZL to make new associations and enquire then. In the meantime I'll tell my daughter to steer clear of the station. She's actually going out with her friend in the daytime and coming back early evening so she won't be in the thick of things. How is Brussels? I've only been there once many years ago...had the best, biggest strawberry sundae in my life in some arcade. Like Switzerland, it's great to be tourist but how is life on a full- time basis there?

I lived in Holland for a short time ....had my first daughter there. Very good after care where we lived, not so much English spoken and so I wasn't happy. At that time, hardly any expat community around us. Hopefully you have some English speakers where you are.

Loos, everyone speaks English. It's brilliant.
Me and DD are off in about seven weeks though. We are moving to England.
