Anyone fancy it? I didn't make the last one...

Oh, have been thinking about this.

Would love to try.

Yes, why not. Can you do an evening? Bonsoir suggested drinks at the Hotel Bristol on one occasion. I've developed a baaaad Crillon habit of late, but not tried the Bristol!

Or lunch on a Saturday?

But I quite like the idea of debauched and raucous evening drinking (perhaps not the Bristol or Crillon then?!).

Bump - sounds like fun.

Well, flying and mrsS, perhaps we should meet up even if no-one else wants to...? Evening drinking sounds fun!

Awww, I'd love to, but am not in Paris by any stretch of the imagination - 2h20 train ride away. Boo!

I'll be with you in spirit!

Bumping up again and wondering where all the other ile-de-france mumsnetters have got to...?

Bumping again for ROSIETOES, TEAFORTWO, THEREISTHEBALL and BONSOIR.

OY!

Oh, I just found this. Great idea - when and where?

Ooh, I leave the "where" to the Parisians, but ask that it be fairly central. As to "when", are we agreed that an evening would be pleasant? For me it would have to be later (8.30/9.00 allowing me time to come in from the 'burbs) and a Tuesday or a Thursday for preference. Don't know about Flyingcloud - is she a little further out than me and would therefore prefer a weekend...?

I would love to come, too, but I haven't been to the last one, so please feel free to tell me to sod off.

I'm at Bastille, so anything fairly central is good- Bristol sounds nice. Or perhaps if the weather's nice, somewhere outside in Marais?

Bumping for the last time before I give this up as a bad idea...

I am really busy at work this week, but can look at this and getting something organised next week, if that helps. Are we all agreed on evening drink? Do people want to eat as well? I work near Concorde and can probably come up with somewhere to drink round there, if that's helpful. Also a bar I go to (according to my credit card statement) near St Lazare.

OK next week will be quieter. What evenings are good for you?

BriocheDoree · 28/03/2011 12:00

For me, Tues, Thurs or Saturday. Any other punters?

Do you have a time and date. I am exhausted. Not sure I can make an evening in Paris right now.

Good luck and enjoy!

Oh I so want to meet you all. but for a big drinkie.

Just found out we are moving to Paris in the summer (july 11). And am now going internet mad looking for Nursery for my little one who is just 4. We are looking at living in the 15th and hoping to get EABJM but sounds like its a coin toss to see if we get in.

All help advice or tips welcome on school and housing.

Can we do one this month? It would have to be during the week, for a drinkie in the evening.

I want a summer meet Grin Not sure when we'll be over though...and not sure if we're back permanently or here for another year. But if there is a meet and I'm around pretty please may I gatecrash? DH can babysit if we're going to a non-baby-friendly restaurant or bar.

Brioche
Can't believe i missed this. Sorry. I am up for it if we can just get it organised.

My take is:

-- lunch midweek: somewhere toddler friendly as i have a 2 yo
-- evening drinks: i can only do after 9pm due to DH's work pattern
-- supper: same, after 9

I am in the Western burbs, so 17eme, 18eme, 8eme, 9eme suit me best, but i can be persuaded to venture further afield if absolutely necessary desired :).
What are your thoughts?

Let's do it!

BriocheDoree · 03/05/2011 09:02

Greythorne, after 9 p.m. also suits me as I'm also out to the West (further out than you, I think...?) Best nights for me are Mon, Tues, Thurs.

A drink after 9.00 pm would be good for me as well, as I should have been able to escape the office by then.

Which station do you come in to?

I'm in the 17th - there are a few of us who live near each other, so I will try and get them to come as well.
