Wondering about going just after Xmas - would it be ok with a 3yo and 7yo?

We went in September and enjoyed it even though it was a drizzly day - no queueing for rides hurrah! Wink I thought the minimum height limit was quite high so the 7 yo might not be tall enough - but I suppose that's a danger for any theme park. :(

The shows all seemed to be in German and they didn't seem to be running the usual full complement. We tried to go to the "chinese palace" for lunch although they failed to fling open their doors at midday so we toddled off to the Mexican place and were absolutely STUNNED at how cheap the prices were! Crikey. I went there on my school class trip when I was 13 - it's still going?!

AlpinePony - they seem to have a few different height restrictions - 1 metre for some of the rides, which will be too high for the 3yo and 1.30 m for others (too high for the 7yo) but there do still seem to be quite a few they could go on.

The entrance prices are cheaper in winter so it doesn't matter so much I guess, and we are staying in Cologne anyway so it's not a trip specially for that. Cheap food sounds good!

Bonsoir - yep still going though has been revamped since you were there :)

Yep, lunch came to under 30 euros for the two of us and I had a couple of cocktails. [hic]
