Hi there, I am coming to you for support, and to enquire whether you might be able to help a student pass her post grad course? I am a lesbian and would love love to do this process with an LGBT parents. My name is Kathryn Sleigh and I am currently studying for an infant observation masters degree, run jointly by Birkbeck College and the British Psychological Foundation (BPF) in London. I am on the quest to find a lovely pregnant mama (due between now and February ideally) with a view to visiting her at home home, once a week for an hour for around 18 months. Your ethos seems so supportive and lovely and approachable so I thought you might be able to help. The idea is for me to observe in a neutral and non-judgmental way, baby's first moments and relationships. Such a special time! If you know someone who might be interested or are able to promote this opportunity, I would be very grateful. I can provide a course confirmation letter and my enhanced DBS. And if your wondering - whats in it for the mum? Many mothers who have been involved have taken satisfaction from having a regular presence and a space to reflect and notice the astonishing changes in their baby over this period. They have also told us that knowing they and their baby have helped someone on their journey to becoming a psychotherapist who will helping others in their time of distress has also been rewarding. Thankyou for taking the time to read mu post. If you want more details, I am happy to provide these, please just let me know. My email is ksleigh@hotmail.co.uk or you can message me directly on here. I am happy for my details to be passed on to anyone you think may be interested. Any support in this would be greatly appreciated, Kind regards, Kathryn
