My Partner and I are Pregnant!!!

Just wondered if there are any other expectant Lesbian mums out there who fancy swapping experiences and abit of support along the way.

I'm the one that's carrying... I have actually never felt better and have a great sense of positivity. My partner is very anxious that we are going to miscarry... We have don't 4 tests in the last 3 days to check "raspberry" is still growing. Raspberry is still growing!!

We hopefully are going to get an early scan we hopefully will reassure everyone...

Congratulations on your conception! I remember how nervous my wife and I were in those first several weeks - they were a mix of incredible, frightening, and thrilling. I'm now 6 1/2 months pregnant and I can honestly tell you it has gone by so incredibly fast. Not everyone's pregnancy is the same, but so far, I have loved every moment of mine. Good luck to you and your partner and congratulations, again, on the beginning of your family :D

Hey me and my partner had our little girl in May and its the best thing that's ever happened to us. The beginning is the best the excitement that it worked and the fact that it is really happening was amazing! Our little girl is 4 months now and she's a happy little thing. We have met other mums in baby groups and things but it will be nice to chat to other couples in a similar situation :)

My wife and I have just started a family,I gave birth to our son in July,he spent 30 days in intensive care, our journey to become parents was an emotional rollercoaster, it's scary, exciting and the most amazing experience but the one thing I wish I did was relax and enjoy being pregnant instead of worrying all the time,my wife and I went through a lot but here we are enjoying our son and proud to be parents. It was a pain in the arse having to explain that my wife was his mammy aswell because a lot of the doctors and medical staff didnt bother to read our notes before talking with us, it's a bit sad really that they obviously havnt had a lot of experience if any with gay parents before. We live in a small town and there doesn't seem to be any lesbian parents around here
