Any gay/lesbian parents in East London?

I've just started maternity leave and am due to have a baby boy any day now. We're really keen to meet up with other gay mums and dads. Anyone up for regular meet ups?
We live in Mile End near the tube. Would be happy to have people round here, or meet at a cafe or anywhere really. Very flexible on days/times.
Let me know!

Hi I live on isle of dogs and just had baby boy too. Fancy meeting around canary wharf? Easy bus ride for each of us!

We are in hackney, we have a 2 year old.

Most local group to you would be

  • Rainbow families, every first Sunday of the month 2-4pm at Positive East, 159 Mile End Road, E1.

Also i recommend - The LGBT parents group on the Southbank, every third Saturday of the month. This is for dads too. Check www.coinstreet.org/whatson/families-and-children/lgbt-parent-group.html for dates

You should also check out meetup.com who have a regular lgbt familes group with over 100 families in (not sure how many attend the meet-ups since we have never attended), and gingerbeer rainbow families board.

Hi!

I'm a third year student studying at Southampton University and i'm currently writing my dissertation on gay and lesbian parents and their experiences. I'm currently looking for anyone that might be interested in being interviewed? All interviews are anonymous, confidential and can be done over the phone, on skype or face to face (should only take up about 30 minutes of your time). Please message me if anyone is interested or has any questions!

Thanks!

Hi,
if anyone is willing to share their story, I am a third year journalism student in Bristol and I am working on my final year project, a feature on same sex families and I am looking for a couple to contribute.
If you are interested, please message me for more info.
Thank you
