DD 15 thinks she's bi

My DD is 15. She told us (me and DH, not her father) that she thinks she's bi. She has a boyfriend, she's been with him for about a year and has told him how she feels. Her father (my xH) is gay.

I've told her that it's fine, she can't help who she's attracted to, that I'll be happy as long as she is. I think she's struggling to come to terms with her feelings. Any advice for helping her with this?

It's funny really, I was convinced my DS (6) was going to be the first of my kids to tell me something like this!

I saw a lovely piece of advice on another thread, which was essentially: "do exactly what you would if she was monosexual, but with a bit more flexibility about pronouns".

No advice. But I think you have the right attitude and therefore she is lucky.
