Shares/stakeholder CTF

I know various posts have been made about the CTF but has anyone gone for a stakeholder option? And also I have vaguely read that you can self select shares to invest your CTF in, but only certain companies do this and is it worth doing it if you do not invest more than 250, as you have to pay fees?
I would love to be able to choose a mighty high risk comapny to invest in...and make a big gamble...but have no idea if it is even possible.
Please can anyone help?
