What counts as a "regular income"?

Grr - apparently I need one to apply for the new credit card I want. I'm self-employed but have done very little since DD was born. My income is not what I'd call "regular". But surely that doesn't mean I can't have a credit card? I mean, I've got one already and they've just increased my limit to £10,000!

You have to declare your income although I'm not sure they'd check it out. Would only become a problem if you couldn't pay.

Thanks galaxy. I've just ticked 'yes' to the regular income and given my last gross total (for 2003-2004). Haven't submitted yet but fingers crossed.
