Thought I would start a new thread as the old one is closed! Hello to everyone old and new trying out Matched Betting!

So I'm £850 up now really happy with that. How is everyone else doing?

Quick question - just wondering what you are all doing to try and prevent being gubbed? I don't have much time during the week to do this so I am a bit concerned that a lot of my reload offers have been the only ones I've done. Particularly interested in making sure I can protect my Bet365 account as I did well on 2up's at the weekend. Thank you!

Hope you all find this! smile

Gammeldragz Fri 02-Nov-18 10:06:35

Thanks for the new thread!
After a good first week on low risk casino, I had a couple of bad days. Made a few mistakes, all the offers seemed to leave me at a loss. Determined to keep at it...

I was wagering through my £20 on Coral for their £5 free bet. Getting fed up as I was almost done and down £17...
Jackpot game comes up. I thought 'oh here we go, a tease I expect'
+£2,645.92!
I feel sick...

crazyhouse123 Fri 02-Nov-18 10:29:24

OMG that is truly amazing! Well done And the reason why we do this sensibly so we never lose out and sometimes this happens!

Woo hoo smile

Gammeldragz Fri 02-Nov-18 10:46:00

Thanks, I'm still in shock! It's mostly going in the house deposit fund, but I am going to treat us all to a curry tonight.
Of course I carried on with the £1.50 remaining to wager for my £5 free bet, lol

crazyhouse123 Fri 02-Nov-18 11:12:49

Lol and quite right too the £5 free bet is just as important! So thrilled for

crazyhouse123 Fri 02-Nov-18 11:13:08

You lol

Posted too soon !

Gammeldragz Fri 02-Nov-18 20:17:42

Apart from that and the Box Bonanza games I was due, I've had a dire day. Few good offers and the ones there were I lost loads on wagering.
Have qualified for a few free bets and bet clubs though, so some profit to come.
Casino giveth and casino taketh away... Lol

TK1930 Fri 02-Nov-18 22:43:48

Wow great win- well done!
Can you talk me through how to wager? Find it very confusing. I understand the concept but then get mixed up as I’m wagering as you make small wins along the way....

Underworld345 Sat 03-Nov-18 22:07:15

Getting fed up of low risk casino. I’m giving it a go to see how my o really profit goes but it’s just so up and down. I just spent an hour wagering through a £500 if wagering for bonus. Was going well until I had £50 left to wager and I bust out! So annoying so £27 down on that one overall sad how do people not get disheartened? I’m doing loads of offers and my thinking is for the moment I’ll use my sports betting to cancel out any losses in casino for this month. If I’m not up by then end of the month, I’ll stick to sports, much less of an emotional rollercoaster!

crazyhouse123 Sun 04-Nov-18 08:48:55

Hi Underworld345 I haven't done any yet where I need to wager like that, I've been sticking to ones like Betfair where you play, say, £20 and get £5 free spins. That way my wagering is done first! Pretty much broken even on those. I don't understand how you can "bust out" though, what exactly does that mean?

TK1930 I can't really help you, I think most of the casinos will show you how much wagering you have done on the promotions page, if you click on the promotion that you are doing. I know Betfair and coral do anyway! So I tend to open the game in a new window then go back and refresh every so often.

Not having the best weekend so far most of my exchange is now in a betting account which is really annoying! Apart from that doing ok! smile

SushiMonster Sun 04-Nov-18 10:23:05

I have been away for a few days so didn’t get any more welcome offers done. Exhausted after a race yesterday so I’m going to relax and sit down now with a coffee and do a couple of bookie sign ups :-)

radioband Sun 04-Nov-18 10:27:34

Could someone explain to me how this works or link to a thread that explains please.

crazyhouse123 Sun 04-Nov-18 10:44:59

Hi radioband best thing to do is head to a website like oddsmonkey or profit accumulator or team profit. Read through the guides. You will need to sign up to get past the first couple of offers (I think there is an offer floating around for oddsmonkey at the moment) but like a pp said on the old thread, your first profit covers this for a couple of months. Follow the instructions and you won't go wrong, and ask if there is anything you are unsure of! I've only been doing this 2 months and up £850 but I'm working through them all very slowly. Others are doing better and also there are some brilliant posters on here who have made a lot and are really helpful. Good luck!

Hi SushiMonster sounds like a good plan for today, I'm hoping to do the same but have a mountain of ironing to do first!

Llioed Tue 06-Nov-18 06:41:32

Hi, I’m hoping to start MB soon once I get a bonus in my pay from work (end of November) - quick question though; do you have to set up a different bank account? Or can you stick with your normal one?
Thanks. I’m just reading up on everything for now but I feel overwhelmed by all the MB jargon - 2ups, etc etc. Did you all feel overwhelmed to begin wth? And did you catch on soon enough about what to do?
I’m going to begin with Team Profits £10 to £100 plan to try it out smile - I just need that initial push to actually start (once I get paid at the end of this month) wish me luck!!

Gammeldragz Tue 06-Nov-18 10:56:44

@Llioed I would recommend a separate bank account, just because it's easier. I didn't get one until I'd been doing it a while but it made it hard to keep up with transactions, it's much easier with a separate account.

MrMakersFartyParty Tue 06-Nov-18 22:19:15

Hey guys, didn't know there was a mb thread on here. Ive been doing it about a year and make around 600 a month. I'm in a group on fb called team profit which is really helpful.

Llioed Wed 07-Nov-18 08:33:02

Thank you for the suggestion of a separate account - I will do this. I have got a separate email address and will set up a new PayPal with the new email address and new bank account. Hope that sounds ok?

Mr Makers - I am on that Team Profit FB group too, but I’m finding it a bit overwhelming with all that MB talk. How much time per week do you spend doing MB in order to make £600 per month? I would be happy with £400/500 per month. Do you do just bets (football/horses) or do you do other stuff like casinos?

SushiMonster Wed 07-Nov-18 11:57:31

@Llioed quite a lot of the welcome offers exclude deposits from paypal so much better to use an actual bank card.

I didn't bother setting up a separate bank account because 1) time/effort and 2) it is really easy to filter transactions for credits to reconcile withdrawals. However it is probably a really good idea to do so. Easiest woudl be to open a second current account at your existing bank as then no ID requirements.

Team Profit and Odds Monkey guides are really good. The TP facebook group is good.

I am using the TP spreadsheet but have made some alterations to it. I love spreadsheets so that bit is kinda fun.

I will be up to £300 ish this weekend when my bets settle.

I annoyingly made a couple of mistakes - one of my smarkets team refunds bests was on the bloody cup not premier so didn't get my refund. That was an annoying £5 loss. Also a ladbrooks bet I didn't actually finish clicking through (thought I had) so I had a lay bet (which lost) and the back bet hadn't been placed. That was another £5 down.

Also to start with I wasn't using the oddsmonkey oddsmatcher, now I am using that I am having much less QL and much higher returns on the free bets.

I literally knew nothing about betting so it was all new to me but the guides are super good at explaining it.

SushiMonster Wed 07-Nov-18 12:08:17

Would def recommend paying for Odds monkey membership and using than in tandem with the free Team Profit "staring with £100" (or lower amount) guide.

Llioed Fri 09-Nov-18 06:27:09

Thanks SushiMonster.
2 questions:
1. What does QL mean?
2. I looked at an example of placing a freebet of placing a back bet of £20 (freebet) at odds of 6.0 and a laybet at odds of 6.17. This was the example given on a TeamProfit guide video. It said you would win around £14 if back bet won, but liability (in exchange) was around £90. Does that mean if back bet won, I would win £14 but lose £90 in the exchange??
Maybe I am missing something? confused sorry for the questions.

sazzle27 Fri 09-Nov-18 22:27:56

Couple of Quick questions guys!
Totally missed the old thread being closed and haven't been able to ask!

1) has anyone seen this offer? Have yet to venture into bingo, but do you think it is worth it?
https://betfred.mobi/promotions/bingo/deposit-10-and-get-40-in-bonuses?utmcampaign=onbb_xxx_binxxx_091118xselll_fsoo_s&utmmedium=crm&utmm_source=sms&utmcontent=bingoo_n/a_free%20spins&

2) have started to try being more organised and accurately track profit... using the profit accumulator "profit" section at the moment, but have trawled through my accounts and transaction histories, inputting each win and loss... is there a better way to do it?

Underworld345 Fri 09-Nov-18 23:05:49

@llioed I use the team profit spreadsheet to track my winnings plus what I’ve got going on at any particular time.

Also the betfred offer, if you’re looking at casino, always check the t&cs. A lot of them lock your own deposit money into the bonus and your can’t withdraw without losing bonus or own funds are used first. The one you mention looks higher risk. I would start with low risk where you wager x amount (£10-20 and get free spins with no wagering requirements.

Gammeldragz Sat 10-Nov-18 16:29:47

@Llioed QL means qualifying loss. How much you lose on the qualifying bet you place in order to get a free bet. Aim for less than 5% of your stake, so 50p on a £10 bet.
As for the other question, your liability is what leaves the exchange if your bookie bet wins. With those odds you'd get £100 back at the bookie (stake not returned on a free bet) so although you're losing £90 at the exchange you're still £10 up.

Gammeldragz Sat 10-Nov-18 16:31:17

I've mostly been doing casino offers this week, done a couple of price boosts today but only a few quid profit from those. Should have a free bet or two on its way and need to place bets for the weekly bet clubs. Mustn't neglect the guaranteed profit stuff, even though low risk casino is rather addictive!

Llioed Sat 10-Nov-18 17:46:33

Gamma - that’s the best way someone has actually explained it to me!! Thank you so much for explaining that! I feel better now. I suppose it’s also simething I will learn as I go along, lol.
Thank you again smile
As for the other ways to make profit (low risk Casino, etc) I will look at those when I have finished Team Profits £100 to £1000 guide.
Thanks again - really appreciate you explaining that to me.

spugzbunny Sun 11-Nov-18 09:24:15

Can someone excellent lain low risk casino for me? How low risk is it really? Is it easy to get carried away?

Oliversmumsarmy Sun 11-Nov-18 09:43:56

I have been trying to get my head around MB for a long time.

Maybe because I have never gambled before save for a couple of lottery tickets I just can’t seem to get it.

Is there a site that explains it baby step by baby step. I am good at maths and can usually understand even complex stuff if I read it carefully but this is like a foreign language.

I can see how you can make a profit on horse racing or football but surely once you have played through your initial opening offer they have no reason to give you more stuff. And on the odd website I have looked at you can’t withdraw your winnings unless over a certain amount.

Llioed Sun 11-Nov-18 10:04:00

I am following Team Profit - they have a website and a Facebook page. They have videos that are split up into step by step guides and easy to follow.

The idea is you get the “welcome offers” from all the bookmakers (this should make approx £600-£800 depending on amounts) then once they are done they want to keep you as a customer (it is a competitive market) therefore will offer more to keep you (called “reload offers”)

They are other things to do such as low risk casino (I haven’t read into this yet) and also things like 2ups and acca’s (again, not read into those either)

Once I have done the welcome offers and some reload offers, I will do further research into the things I mentioned above. Best thing to do is not read about EVERYTHING at this stage as it can be overwhelming. Only read/watch the videos that you need to, then progress onto low risk casino/2ups, etc, a few months down the line.

Hope this helps? Team Profit is the one I will be following once I get my bank account set up, and deposit money into coral, betfair exchange, etc.

Good luck!

Oliversmumsarmy Sun 11-Nov-18 12:33:44

Thanks for that. I will look Team Profit up.

Merryoldgoat Mon 12-Nov-18 02:30:59

Hello! I was a newbie at the end of the last thread. Started 19th October and am now £1k up thanks to about 20 welcome offers, a couple of lucky bingo offers and some low-risk casino.

Very interested in 2ups but might be problematic as I don’t have the time to spend watching the matches.

Hoping to pull in £200-£300 a month if I can.

Can anyone making an income from this give a brief breakdown of where their income comes from? Is it mostly reloads or is it all casino? I find Casino a bit nervy although now I’ve got to grips with wagering it makes a bit more sense and I’m up on 3 sites this evening. Jackpot Joy especially fruitful after winning £55 from my free bingo tickets! grin

Llioed Mon 12-Nov-18 06:32:39

This may help...

notsodimwit Mon 12-Nov-18 07:12:59

Hi x I have just started doing matched betting and have received an offer of 25 free spins in the casino, how do I do them as never played in a casino in my life confused

SushiMonster Mon 12-Nov-18 13:47:53

@notsodimwit is there a wagering requirement? Or are winnings paid as cash?

Basically you should see a ‘claim free spins’ button somewhere and it will tell you what slot games are in the promo in the T&Ca. Go to the slot and it should have the free spins there. If it doesn’t say free spins in the slot, don’t play it, come back out. All are a bit different so hard to know exactly how to activate the spins.

I was a newbie at the end of the last thread - just hit £500 after 3 weeks and doing about half the sign up offers and some bet clubs and reloads. This weekend with the Sheffield and Manchester Derby’s was super profitable.

notsodimwit Tue 13-Nov-18 05:25:50

Thank you sushi x its paid a cash but I have to wait up to 72hours before the free spins get added x I have just started but cant get my head around the maths yet but I am trying to give it a real go grin

Merryoldgoat Tue 13-Nov-18 20:47:59

If you want to try some low risk casino, the following 5 are a good place to start.

Heart Bingo
Monopoly Casino
Virgin Games
Jackpot Joy
Starspins

They all offer a free daily game and a bonanza box offer. To open the box you need to wager £5 on three different days.

I use Starburst for this as it’s quite good RTP - I do 10p spins and rarely end up down (so far). However I am keeping a balance in each account so I don’t have to keep withdrawing and depositing so prob only helpful when you’ve already built up a reasonably sized bank.

Gammeldragz Wed 14-Nov-18 10:23:28

I make about £50 a week from reloads and price boosts on the actual matched betting, and aim for £30 a day from low risk casino, which I'm hitting in average. My aim is £1000 a month.

Merryoldgoat Wed 14-Nov-18 11:53:55

Gosh - I really need to
Understand casino better - I can’t imagine £30 a day!!

Gammeldragz Wed 14-Nov-18 20:06:39

I aim to hit 11+ offers a day, so £30 isn't too unreasonable. I get anything and everything that's positive EV, even casino stuff though I stick to roulette as I hate blackjack!

Merryoldgoat Wed 14-Nov-18 20:49:03

Is there something I can read about calculating EV?

Golden0ldie Thu 15-Nov-18 08:32:31

Can I join please? I started on Monday having spent months reading up, watching tutorials and procrastinating! Going really slowly as I get my head round figures and the mechanics of it all. Have been doing horses all week ... rookie mistake of too low odds on my Betfred bet £10 for £30 free bets. Grrr. Horse was a non-runner so I got a second chance!

Now looking to use free bets. I think I should be using the entire bet on one horse, is that right? Also, is it realistic to see an 80% return on the free bet at this stage? I think the liability is going to knock me. What are best odds to look for please?

Thanks!

Golden0ldie Thu 15-Nov-18 08:52:19

Oh, one more question. At the exchange there is rarely enough money to cover the lay - is it best to wait until closer to race atart rather than a few hours or day before?

lannister Thu 15-Nov-18 09:41:13

Getting back into MB after a very long break. I have forgotten most things. Just wanted to ask what people recommend: oddsmonkey or profit accumulator?

twinkledag Thu 15-Nov-18 09:41:29

Glad to have found this thread. Was on the last one. I'm still plugging away. Prob made about £500 so far in the last couple of months.

Merryoldgoat Thu 15-Nov-18 13:22:54

@goldenoldie

I’m no expert but I don’t bet on horses until about half an hour or so before the race - the odds are too volatile.

Golden0ldie Thu 15-Nov-18 23:24:38

Thanks Merry - will try to be patient tomorrow and log on at lunchtime instead of after school run!

FreckledLeopard Thu 15-Nov-18 23:29:59

I'd definitely recommend OddsMonkey.

I've also got back into matched betting after easing off over the summer. I'm £300 up for November so far and am up to a total of £5500 since starting last year. Need to make at least a grand by Christmas to pay for all the house refurbishment we're doing!

Golden0ldie Fri 16-Nov-18 14:24:35

Wow Freckled - impressive!

I’m only 5 days in and slowly working through welcome offers but it is so slow. Signing up for Odds Monkey might speed me up a bit - it takes forever to find a bet on Betfair, check odds at bookies, put all into calculator - sometimes doing it half a dozen times before finding a good match. Am doing two new accounts a day but think I need to step it up a bit.

SushiMonster Fri 16-Nov-18 15:49:20

It’s totally worth paying for OM and using the oddsmatcher. Saves so much time.

I hit £700 today :-)

Golden0ldie Fri 16-Nov-18 22:19:25

Well done Sushi, that’s fab!

Right, a few questions. Have been receiving emails. Betfred - free spins. Do I do them? What do I do? It says any cash won will be paid directly into ky account. I’m a cynic ... I’m not going to win anything from 10 free spins, am I? Coral - Bet 5 amd get a free £5 bet. Think I should do that. And Coral.- bet club? Bet £25 per week and get a free £10 each week. Am guessing that’s bet Club which I’ve seen mentioned but know nothing about.

On the Chat MB thread, someone mentioned that Bet365 are withdrawing the Bet £100, get £100 offer at month end. If I do that, what sort of exchange balance do I need and is it a case of my £100 must be spent on a single bet but then do I split the free £100 into multiple bets?

Sorry, probably really dumb questions!

Merryoldgoat Fri 16-Nov-18 22:39:12

The Team Profit people say the Bet365 Offer will be renewed - don’t worry about it for now if you don’t have much of a bank.

Pay for OM or PA and watch the casino video tutorials. You CAN make money but you need to be aware of a few things.

I’ve done a few over the last two days and made about £200 with Casino and Bingo combined.

SushiMonster Sun 18-Nov-18 00:09:57

Read and watch the video and guides on TP (free) and either OM or PA (paid).

The TP Facebook group is really good and has a ‘newbie power hour’ thread from 7pm to 9pm every day (or every week day anyway) which is a really good place to ask Qs.

If you have X free spins with no wagering requirements I would do them, you can’t lose anything. Worst case you waste 10 mins and get £0.

PetiteMamaNoel Wed 21-Nov-18 15:05:11

Haven't done MB in couple of years. Have a few unused accounts so used up the sign up offers.

Can anybody tell me where to start?

Golden0ldie Wed 21-Nov-18 16:49:29

Ten days in and I’ve been gubbed. Set up my Net Bet account today, lodged £50 and backed a horse which subsequently won. Went to my account and hit withdraw but a strange message popped up re not accessing bonuses if I withdrew funds sonI cancelled. Got email saying £50 free bet was credited and logged on to a pop up screen telling me that I have been blocked from promotional bonuses. Went onto Chat and was told it was automated but to read T&Cs which say something along the lines of - if you withdraw a deposit when there is a promo, then they will term you a promo better and block or close account.

Phew, that was quite long winded .... so how do I avoid going forward?

The £125 winnings is still sitting in Net Bet as is my free bet. Any advice when to use bet and withdraw funds. Is it even worth keeping the account open? Or doing a few mug bets?

Thanks!

Ilovealexa Wed 21-Nov-18 19:15:04

Can anyone advise how best to use the bet365 new customer offer? Thanks

Merryoldgoat Wed 21-Nov-18 19:28:06

@PetiteMamaNoel

You’ll need to find offers at bookies you haven’t yet joined - look at the Team Profit website.

@Ilovealexa

That’s the Bet £100/get £100 isn’t it?

You need to get your bank up first so you can afford the liability to back a higher odds event and maximise your profit - I waited until I had around £500 and made about £80 off the offer.

Use one of the calculators to check the liability you need to cover at various odds and go from there. You can also split it - I did one £50 and two £25 bets.

Ilovealexa Wed 21-Nov-18 20:45:19

Oh fab thanks! That doesn’t make much sense but ill have a look at the calculators and hopefully it will afterwards smile

Merryoldgoat Wed 21-Nov-18 21:09:23

What calculator are you using to work out your lay amounts?

Underworld345 Wed 21-Nov-18 21:56:17

@Gammeldragz how often on average do you spend doing 11+ offers a day. I would say I do half that amount but probably more picky on what I do i.e I avoid doing ones that have high wagering associated with winnings. I only have around 2hours free on an evening. Is that doable to get £30 a day from just casino?

Gammeldragz Thu 22-Nov-18 11:27:27

I spend a good 3 hours a day spread over morning and evening, but a lot of that is reading forum posts and stuff. Two hours should be enough to just do the offers. I actually do more like 18-22 a day but some do have the higher wagering requirements. I had a run of bad days this week but then made over £100 yesterday.

SushiMonster Thu 22-Nov-18 15:40:22

@Ilovealexa did you read the team profit guid on how to complete the offer? If not, do so.

Gammeldragz Thu 22-Nov-18 22:04:09

Looking like a ton of offers abound for Black Friday tomorrow. Sports and casino.
Betfred alone have about 20!
Of course I'm working 7-7:30 so I'll have a lot less time to tackle them, can't even start after midnight as I'm up too early sad

CocoaOneBums Sat 24-Nov-18 22:15:16

I've just started (yesterday) thanks to these threads which I've been reading for a while. £40 up so far, but waiting on my free bet from the third sign up.

Annoyingly, I've won most of my back bets so far, so had to put more money in my betfair wallet whilst I wait for the withdrawal from the bookies!

chocilit Tue 27-Nov-18 10:00:51

I’m going to start this today. Can anyone tell me my first baby step? I have watched the videos etc but really need an actual person to tell me what my first move should be!

Merryoldgoat Tue 27-Nov-18 11:09:43

A Profit Accumulator subscription - it will give you everything you need.

Golden0ldie Tue 27-Nov-18 16:30:22

Choclit, if you don’t want to pay a monthly subscription just yet, then have a look at Odds Monkey. If you go to the Start menu there are 6 tutorials. Numbers 5 and 6 walk you through your first two bookie sign ups and bets. After that go to the Offers menu and select New Account offers. Just work your way through as you feel comfortable with them. I’ve done most of these but haven’t been brave enough to do any Accas yet so am leaving them for now. Good luck.

Fluffycloudland77 Wed 28-Nov-18 15:16:43

I’ve just started doing this again.

I have a months pa for £8.99 and have made £20 from the mo play offer.

It’s coral tomorrow.

Are any of you doing price boosts?

Gammeldragz Wed 28-Nov-18 16:13:38

Yes I do price boosts if they're worth more than a pound.
Sometimes underlay them if they're low odds.

Fluffycloudland77 Wed 28-Nov-18 16:28:32

Silly question, but when you see a bookie offering a boost how do you know which one to choose off the matched betting selection?

Or do you go through each one offered to find it on the matched betting bit?.

twinkledag Wed 28-Nov-18 17:58:10

@Gammeldragz can you explain the reasoning behind underlaying? I've read and read but I just don't get it!

Underworld345 Wed 28-Nov-18 22:48:59

@fluffycloudland77 don’t really greet what you mean...do you find finding the lay bet?

Fluffycloudland77 Thu 29-Nov-18 07:20:25

No, I mean say their offering a boost how Do you know which bet to pick off the odds matcher?.

notmaryberry Thu 29-Nov-18 08:48:40

Hi all. I started MB this week. I've only done the Coral sign up so far and made about £15 but I wanted to make sure I had got the basics right before I did any more. I've got a day off today so going to do some more sign ups. I'm not sure how much time I can dedicate to it but I have a few days off in December so thought it would be a good time to start.

Gammeldragz Thu 29-Nov-18 11:54:34

Twinkledag over time the profit pretty much is the same, but it uses less liability and sometimes you get a bigger win.

Ollivander84 Thu 29-Nov-18 23:03:22

I have just started smile used the save the student guide thing

Fluffycloudland77 Fri 30-Nov-18 07:14:59

Don’t forget to check cashback sites, I missed out on loads of cash by not checking

MeMyselfAndMylene Fri 30-Nov-18 21:08:43

I started today, just done my first qualifying bet with coral but struggling to use the free bets. There is a horse I want to put them on but can’t find the search bar in coral??!

sazzle27 Sat 01-Dec-18 00:46:32

Not all betting sites have search bars.. in fact I've found it's mostly the exchanges that have a search bar..

Best to just find it via sports-horse racing-course-time etc etc

purpleunicorns Sat 01-Dec-18 09:42:57

Is anyone having issues with the Betfair app or am I being really thick? There's no option for lay bets, they're all blue rather than red

MeMyselfAndMylene Sat 01-Dec-18 11:11:24

Eek! Just completed my first offer with Coral! On a horse that runs today. If I’ve done it all right, I should make a profit of £15 ... I’m more excited about that than I probably should be 😂

chuffnstuff Sat 01-Dec-18 11:21:48

@Purpleunicorns scroll right on the screen with your thumb, you should then see the lay odds.

Ollivander84 Sat 01-Dec-18 17:14:59

I did my first one - Coral and Betfair. Now on to Ladbrokes, qualifying bet on for tomorrow so will place free bet when that's over

GenderApostate Sat 01-Dec-18 20:26:31

Purpleunicorns , are you using the Betfair exchange app and NOT the Betfair sports one? That was my very first mistake when I started this week 🤗
I’ve made @ £50 a day profit since Wednesday, signed up to oddsmonkey premium and am working my way through the opening offers and have deposited into 11 accounts so far, investing £250 in the process!

MeMyselfAndMylene Sat 01-Dec-18 20:42:13

I’m using betfair online ... what should I be using?? And please tell me how to make £50 a day! I’ve made £15 today but only done one welcome offer so far.

purpleunicorns Sat 01-Dec-18 20:53:11

Ah gender that's what was wrong! Wrong appgrin Got it now, thanks

Ollivander84 Sun 02-Dec-18 19:11:39

Argh. My Ladbrokes free bet isn't showing yet, does it often take a bit to go on?

Fluffycloudland77 Sun 02-Dec-18 19:31:20

Sometimes.

Team profit might know.

Ollivander84 Sun 02-Dec-18 19:36:16

I'll keep an eye. For my qualifying bet I don't seem to have lost anything anyway so...
William hill next

Hello!

I've just started following the Team Profit £100 to £1k guide and did the coral welcome offer tonight and have placed the skybet offer for tomorrow (trigger) and Wednesday (free bet with best odds).

My coral ones lost so am I meant to withdraw money from betfair to then deposit into the next welcome offer (William Hill). If I'd won on coral I would have withdrawn from there but it's sitting in the exchange. They've not made this clear in the guide.

Fluffycloudland77 Tue 04-Dec-18 08:23:34

Yes, withdraw and move on.

festivedramallama Tue 04-Dec-18 08:31:52

Yes if you need the money to fund WH for the next offer withdraw it

Allhallowseve Tue 04-Dec-18 13:52:02

Hi all ! Newbie here too! I but the billet after lots of reading and completed welcome offer for coral trigger bet on Sunday. I’m taking it slow have placed £10 of my free bet on a football game tonight then will place the other £10 once that one is done . I am being very slow and just worrying about losing money - hence starting on the £10 plan. Hopefully I can get a bit better at this....

Allhallowseve Tue 04-Dec-18 13:52:19

*bullet not billet !!

Fluffycloudland77 Wed 05-Dec-18 11:37:19

It’s all clicking into place with me, finally. I have an Oddsmonkey trial and one to one training tomorrow.

LadyFuchsiaGroan Wed 05-Dec-18 14:52:58

Nice to find a mb thread. I started yesterday after reading the team profit guides. Started with the coral welcome offer and signed up to oddsmonkey. Slowly starting to get my head around it, although I'm confised how you can keep going after the welcome offers..?

Bonkersblond Wed 05-Dec-18 15:25:53

Hmmm, giving this a go after reading and pondering for last couple of months, am as far as a Betfair and Coral account, hoping to give it a proper go today, have signed up to the PA free trial and studying tutorials, think I’m there with the process!

Fluffycloudland77 Wed 05-Dec-18 15:32:44

There’s free bets offered after the sign up offers, plus price boosts, dutching, each way extra places.

AutumnB Wed 05-Dec-18 17:19:23

When's the best time to get oddsmonkey? I'm only on week 1 so £17.99 a month seems a lot but if it does what I think it will then it would be a massive time saver. I know there is the one week trial for £1 but just seeing how much I can do in the first couple of weeks.

I have been brave and I've put about £250 in my exchange so far, just so I can get through the offers quicker (I'm super impatient) and maximise the free bets. Terrified of making a silly mistake though! I'm already £50 up in 3 days.

AutumnB Wed 05-Dec-18 18:04:38

It doesn't take them long to send the reload offers does it?! Coral and William Hill sent them the day after I did the welcome offers.

It's a bit scary thinking about those vulnerable to gambling, how much temptation there is.

Fluffycloudland77 Wed 05-Dec-18 18:37:53

I’d sign up now and read the advice on keeping accounts open.

Ollivander84 Wed 05-Dec-18 21:14:02

William hill just emailed with bet £10, get £15 free bet
Presuming it's worth doing?!
