Okay, the background is for the past year DH has been behaving appallingly. The marriage is over in all but name. I did see a lawyer who charged me £500 and told me very little taht was useful. I was in such a state that I didn't realise how useless his information was.

I don't know if I can manage financially if I divorce him.

Can anyone tell me roughly what share of the assets I could expect? He is the high earner (almost 3 times my salary). I spent 10 years as a SAHM before returning to work this year. We are heavily mortgaged.
