DCs school likes to use twitter —for marketing— to keep parents informed of day to day activities. We specifically asked In writing that DCs names were not published. A month ago they tweeted a picture with DC1s name clearly visible. I asked them to take it down and reminded them that they assured us this wouldn’t happen. Emailed response was an apology and agreeing it should never happen. Last week they tweeted a picture of DC2 with their name clearly visible. I haven’t emailed about this, yet.
We have a long list of other concerns About the school and are looking to move DC. Legal question is would we have grounds to remove them with immediate effect and not be liable for next terms fees (need to give a terms notice) on the grounds of repeated data/safety breach?
