The parking situation where I work is pretty dire and whilst we do have three car parks (not on the large side) that we can park, all of these were full and I was running late. (I already know that my excuses are not relevant)! Which meant I parked in a bay near to our allocated parking which belongs to other offices - which was dead.
Anyway, when I got to my car, I had the yellow packet on my windscreen, and as it was in the evening and quite dark, I popped it into the side door and left it.
The next day, I remembered it being there, went to open it but there was nothing inside it.... I was expecting a piece pf paper of some sorts, but nope - nothing! whats even more weird, is that there was no other holes in it, where I would have expected somebody else could have opened it.
So this morning, I have called the parking people, given them my registration and asked if there are any parking fines against my name, which they have told me there are none.
Now I could just quietly ignore this, but I still cannot help worrying. has anybody else had this?
And should I be getting this in writing just in case on the off chance, I end up getting a letter myself to say that I have in fact got a fine?
I don't know what to do?
