I have filed for divorce which has been sent to the court H has refused mediation now so what happens next ( I do have a solicitor) does anyone know what this is going to cost ?? Can I get any help with costs

You won't get help with costs I'm afraid as they have tightened up legal aid for low incomes. If you have a solicitorthey shold have told you thever costs and also a timeline for what needs to happen when.

Use someone, you will get more for the money that way.

Alot of times he will have an interest in the house, but you will have about 60 or 70 of the value.

You can also of set his pension on the value of the house, so you own more, then you will be going after his for CS, all this you will lose out on if you don't have someone who can and will fight your corner.

Not entirely true. You can, if on a low income, possibly get your divorce fee to the court reduced or for free. You need to apply for the code from the GOV.UK website.

Am just coming to the end of my divorce. Cost around £7000 so far.

Have you both filled in Financial form E so you can see what assets you both have? It was thanks to that revealing STBXH pension that l have stayed in the house
