Not sure if this is the right place to post, but here it goes.

I was thinking of starting a Facebook group to organize a fitness meet-up for local parents in the park. I’m not a qualified fitness instructor. It would be free. Just meeting up in the park doing a few laps of brisk walking round then strength training exercises. Would there be any kind of liability issue here if I did this? I just want to use Facebook as a means of organizing a group, but don’t really want the hassle of setting up a charity or anything and don’t want to set myself up to get sued due to exercise injury, etc. TIA!

I can't see any problem with you doing this at all, apart from the hassle of people saying 'I would prefer a Wednesday to a Tuesday'' I cannot do 10am, can we change it to 11am'?

I go out with a dog walking group, via www.meetup.com but have also seen numerous dog walking meetips advertised on Facebook, so go ahead, and enjoy😊
