Can DH ex wife get her hands on my pension/savings etc

DH left ex ten yrs ago. Extremely bitter and long winded divorce. We married 7 yrs ago.

So that's the set up and this is the question. We were having one of those 'what would you do if you win the lottery' -type discussions , when DH. casually 'joked ' 'leave the country in a fast jet before ex-wife tries to get her hands on it...

I was quite shocked as the divorce was a decade ago and assumed all that had been finally dealt with. However it turns out he hasn't got a 'clean break' for spousal maintenance. It is 1p per annum.
Ex wife was SAHM.
I have worked continually through 3 babies. Ex wife now works part time .
DH pays over huge CM so ex has no need to work ft. That's fine. Her choice. CM will end in 3 yrs.
My parents are very well off and very elderly. I am an only child and will inherit in entirety . (I know this as parents very close , and open about finances). I will also have a large lump sum from work. When I retire.
Does the lack of clean break make improved household (my) income /savings mean ex can apply for an increase to spousal maintenance especially after CM ceases . Ex remarried 6 yrs ago.
I have worked hard and do not want my pension/lump sum going to someone who has chosen not to work/build up a pension.
Can a variation only be claimed against an ex spouse. ?
Could ex wife claim that husband has large 'available' income on the basis that I will comfortably be able to cover all bills and living costs for the two of us ?
Apologies if this sounds paranoid but their divorce was nasty, vicious and ridiculous and straight out of 'how not to separate' . (Both of them - my DH was no saint either) - so just want to be sure and would put nothing past his ex (and her new DH)
Can he get a clean break now ? (If it is needed)

Many thanks.

Her right to maintenance ended when she remarried. She cannot make any further claims against your husband.

That's why I love MN legal. Ask a question , yet a straight no nonsense answer.
Many thanks. Mind at rest. I shall recommence my plans for large lottery win 😉
