Would you take on a couple of tenants that have both been through divorces and both have CCJ's as a consequence?

With sight of twelve months bank statements showing regular income and rent payments on the appropriate date each month, yes, I possibly would.

Have the CCJs been paid? And how long ago?

Sorry, I have to be honest, that I'd say no. I might possibly consider it with proof of the last year, and with a guarantor who themselves has a good income, assets and credit history.
