Bailiffs and Divorce Petition

Hi Has anyone been through the divorce process in the UK? I sent the divorce petition to the divorce centre, and they sent it to him over 3 weeks ago, I am paying a private process server to serve it on him this weekend as there has been no response, and the centre bailiff is going to take about 8 months to do it. My question is, when I get the statement back from the process server to say he has been served, do I just fill in the form for the decree nisi and attach that and do I take defended or undefended divorce?. I have seen I can go ahead and apply for the Nisi after 3 weeks of no response and the proof he has been served but do not know what form to fill in? Any help appreciated thank you. x

You fill in the forms for undefended divorce, and send them in with the statement of service.
