Discaplinary process.

Just a quick question. If you were to have a flexible working arrangement that specifically states you do not work wednesdays or thursdays, can your company insist on you attending a discaplinary on one of these days.

Also, if you were told on a tuesday evening you are to attend a discaplinary friday morning do the weds/thurs count as three working days notice? The company counts 365 days a year as working days so really not sure where things stand.

Often for disciplinaries a company allows you to suggest an alternative day if the first doesn't suit for a good, concrete reason. But you can't postpone it indefinitely.
Re notice, a working day is a working day, even if you don't work on that day so days do count even if you are not at work.
