Long story short. We were on a train last weekend coming home from a girls day out when one of the girls I was with got a little carried away and nipped one of the guards bum. She had had a bit to drink. Not that it's an excuse.

He called the police who met us off the train and she wouldn't admit it was her. Now all of us have had to give our names and numbers and will have to give statements if the cctv doesn't show anything up.

I'm so worried I work in a school and this could be terrible if I get involved with anything like this. I'm also feeling so angry because she could have saved us all from going through this. Just needed to express my worry really envy

The only thing you can do is name her in your statement.

If it was a drunk man and a female guard would you hesitate?

If it gets to the point of statements I'd give her name. She should have been owning and apologising like mad

Oh I'm not thinking twice I'm not getting the blame. I'm just really effed off that she's put me in this position. I can see her falling out with us for dropping her in it.

I'm not denying she's in the wrong at all it makes no difference male or female

I wouldn't want a friend of any gender who acted like that towards people of either gender.

In any case, she's dropped you in it by not owning up to her shitty behaviour.

I know and who knows how long this will drag out for. It's worry that I could do without

MrsBertBibby Tue 28-Jun-16 08:53:12

You don't have anything to worry about, except losing a crap friend.

Dear me, how old are you all. Surely she should just own up.

Thirty bloody five!!! And I'm the youngest. Seriously not happy. I would have owned up and not let everyone else have to be questioned

I would get together with the others and jointly tell her she has 24 hours to own up or you will all be naming her. I'm.sure the others must feel as irritated as you do.
